Working with Debbie Travis, Carrousel Studio created the Virtual Happiness Retreat<\/a>. The idea is to bring the retreats home for an immersive Livestream experience. With Covid-19 restricting travel to Tuscany for the usual in-person gathering, we were tasked with creating a website that could sell tickets, create accounts and give access to a two-day Livestream event accessible from within their website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Combining technologies such as the WooCommerce<\/a> and The Events Calendar<\/a>, we built a custom Livestream experience capable of selling tickets, creating accounts, and giving access to purchased videos. With other solutions such as Vimeo Enterprise being very expensive and taking a cut of all sales, we built a solution that ensured sure every ticket price went straight into their account without any service changes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The website has been featured on The Marilyn Denis Show<\/a> , along with many other publications.
